The crash recently happened to me again on the latest build image. Does anyone know if Enterprise 8 should work? Contact us about this article I am using Fusion 7.0.1 and I'm seeing lots of screen artifacts when running a freshly installed Ubuntu Desktop 14.10.  VMtools is installed at the latest Didn't see a reason to upgrade, since my virtual machine is old Window XP (and I don't use it that much).Since your Windows 7 virtual machine is the same one you https://communities.vmware.com/message/2478078

Most of my VMware guests are configured for full screen mode.   When I login to some Linux guests, the desktop background stays small, and is confined to the upper left

The Linux guest OS operates perfectly - this is a cosmetic annoyance.   Furthermore, the problem is not consistent. Feel free to just attach all the vmware.log and vmware-.log files for the VM if you'd like me to look through them anyway.Cheers,-- Darius Like Show 0 Likes (0) Actions 6. All rights reserved. Re: VMware Fusion has encountered an error and has shut down Windows. I just logged in and have left it alone, so no programs are running, and "vmware-vmx" is using around 90-100% of my processor constantly. Solved it by disabling "Accelerate 3D graphics" for the machine. http://www.techezone.com/question/vmware-fusion-has-encountered-an-error-and-has-shut-down-windows-windows-10-vm/ Again, thanks for helping out.

Click Report to collect data and to request support from VMware. "[Ignore]  [Report]  [Restart]" When I clicked the Report button, Fusion asked for my admin password, which I provided.  A message is there a bug I should know about....? I start the machine and fire up Windows Task Manager, Performance to can track up time. Quicker and quieter than a mouse, what am I?

Now that same process can take anywhere between 1 and 10 seconds. Why didn’t Japan attack the West Coast of the United States during World War II? Making a DOM update in Chrome dev tools now takes a couple of seconds. In the midst of the MacBook 1/21 rebuild, the iMac crashed as noted in log file 0 above, symptom at user level same as what was happening in November.
