The original date was Sunday, 15th October, 2006. Decrypting my project folder and subfolders fixed the problem. League would black screen at login screen after patch, so I reformatted my pc and then had the install problem. While in game, my keyboard would temporarily be disabled, but work with other programs.
Once I installed that patch it finally installed correctly.
