I have managed to set it up and run the second instance (there was not much to understand how to do it). The language is C#, and we're using Visual Studio 2005. My problem occured since Visual Studio (C# project) couldn't find the managed c++ dll and copy it to the location mentioned in J Collins post => the designer couldn't find the So what I did was comment out the constructor of the offending Usercontrol, and rebuild my project.
