Vista Sp1 Won't Install No Error
I normally hear memory errors and think virtual memory, but in this case the HD was at its physical limit. Can't do anything because of insufficient space. Nope. In my case, I think that my problem was a corrupted SP1 file because when I tried to instal with a new download it worked fine. I hoped this would force a restart. I re-ran automatic updates and it now showed SP1. I just want to update this damn machine!!!! Finnaly I've found a possible solution! You'd think by now MS would've fixed this. You're right, an earlier commented mentioned the same problem with another brand.
Once you know your Vista version you can download the System Readiness tool for either your 32 or 64 bit system. I bought a new printer (for a very important document) but couldn't even install it without a service pack.
