Visio Error Failed To Initialize The Modeling Engine

The problem we face is that we cannot upgrade to Visio SP3 (no resource / budget / project) or remove the security hotfix. Similarly, if you have SP3 and apply the security update, the problem doesn't occur as well. I read in the specification that this options was excluded for this version, so I am wondering how does everyone else manage a large WBS and if theres any other trick have a peek here

For users with SP2 and the security update, applying SP3 seem to work okay. All of the individual suite applications are supported here, so please post your question in the relevant section for help. This new hotfix hotfix does install on SP2 and does in fact get rid of the error message in Visio. But in File->New-FlowChart, I could not find "Mind Mapping Diagram".

I haven't done any product updates to Visio itself because after reading through various groups it seems the updates cause more problems than solve them.
