Visio Error Failed To Initialize Modeling Engine

I'm glad you were able to pin down the problem and uninstall the update. The problem we face is that we cannot upgrade to Visio SP3 (no resource / budget / project) or remove the security hotfix. I recently downloaded Visio 2007 and can not find a Product Key, any Help?

I had some success with just exporting the diagram to vector graphics (*.svg), and pulling it back in.  Then I could edit using Visio core.  I still had trouble selecting connector I want to reverse engineer a database.
